The Coach
Mr. James SM Yap has had more than 20 years experience coaching in several swimming clubs in the Klang Valley and Seremban. Currently he is the Head Coach of Sunway Swimming and also the appointed coach of Sunway University College and Monash University Malaysia.
His students has participated in age-group swimming championship and has won numerous awards at state and national level. Among his notable achievements lately are Leanne, Quentin and Livvy who among them have collectively won 85 gold, 34 sliver and 10 bronze through the years of 2005 - 2009 at the State Schools Sports Council Swimming Championship (MSSMNS).
Mr. James SM Yap is a certified coach for ‘Learn – To – Swim’ Programs and Competitive Swimming Programs by the Association Swimming Union of Malaysia (ASUM) and a Sports Science candidate certified by the National Sports Council of Malaysia (NSC).
